FISHING CAUSES GLOBAL WARMING: Its true and it was shown on discovery channel. When the ordinary fisherman having no knowledge of environment fishes out any fish from water. That particular breeds' population decreases and may unknowingly or knowingly come to an extinction..
Also the fish eat plankton or phytoplankton. So if we kill them the phytoplankton settles down at the bottom of lake or sea. There they degrade and release methane gas in bulk. As we know methane is a green gas and this gas comes up at the surface of water bringing along with it many dead bodies of fishes and thus it goes into atmoshpere. This thing like getting many dead fishes on sea shore etc. took place on Australian coast...
SOLUTION: Fish farming!
Fish farming will be helpful in 2 ways. Firstly it'll save many species of fish from being extinct. Secondly the phytoplankton will consumed in large, regular and rated amount. Thus preventing the large amount of greenhouse gas methane from being released into atmosphere.
Whats more? The fisherman will earn more from fish farms. Experts are finding ways to reduce its cost and searching natural methods like growing plants at the enclosure or boundries of the farm which will reduce the toxicity of the water entering into the farm.

One morning while jogging along a lake side I saw this dead body of fish. Some friends suggested that its an Eel-tailed catfish. The lake is such a muddy water lake but people still go to swimming over there.http://www.flickr.com/photos/suhrid87/3638014034/in/photostream/ This is image URL of that fish. It was strange, the body appeared to be tied.
Now many people might not know that this particular fish is also found in lake near them and not only on the Discovery Channel. People say that their branch is not fisheries or they are not experts but almost every creature is linked and valuable for many other creatures including us in this ecosystem. Who knows there might be some undiscovered species underwater in that dirty looking lake. Similarly there are many undiscovered species in the rain forest and only 2% of them have been discovered I'll update the exact statistics later.. I think, if possible by the techniques like thermal imaging and maybe some other radiation technique, scientist should search for new species and do their studies in India also. India is definitely cheap for living for a foreigner and its rich in biodiversity.
So we must be environmental conscious, we all know about global warming and stuff its time to take action and be a ecocitizen !
